Unlike the standard café models, this rare variation features turned front legs and a decoratively perforated seat, details that highlight the craftsmanship and refinement of Thonet’s bentwood furniture. The chair shows a beautiful patina and age-appropriate wear, giving it great character. Carved initials “F J” on the wood further add to its unique history.
The chair remains in original condition, with some light surface wear and patina consistent with use and age.
