Brutalist coffee table by artist Idir Mecibah for Smederij Moerman Belgium from the 1990s. The table was designed in the late 1980s and produced only for a short period in the 1990s. Made of solid steel with the characteristic gold plated square in the middle. The forged steel legs are welded to the top. Idir Mecibah died at the young age of 55 in Antwerp Belgium. Remains in excellent condition. Real investment piece.
